Our community’s donations power our school.
We Need You!
The Lincoln Elementary’s PTSA raises critical funds to support our school. Despite being the nation's 12th richest state, Colorado public schools rank in the bottom half in per pupil spending and teacher pay. Our children receive nearly $2,000 less per pupil than the Denver Public Schools average of $10,271. Our school's per-pupil allocation is just enough to keep the lights on, the copy machine working and teachers and staff paid. All schools in the US, whether public or private, rely on donations to provide high quality education. Without your support and generosity, our school would be a very different place.
What Our Donations Do
Fund paraprofessionals who enable high quality learning environments.
Our PTSA funds the entire salaries for three paraprofessionals each year, which supports lower student-teacher ratios, opportunities for focused small group instruction and the flexibility to dive deeper into social-emotional learning.
Deepen student engagement and creativity through STEAM, Field Trips and Enrichments.
The PTSA supports programming for our Innovation Space, a dedicated room for educators and after school programs in Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics. The PTSA also funds field trips across the Denver region and provides scholarships for after-school enrichments.
Support our teachers.
Our PTSA provides grants to our teachers to bridge funding gaps for basic classroom resources that enhance the learning environment, including supplemental educational materials, flexible seating options, supplies and furniture. PTSA funds also offer professional development opportunities not covered by DPS.
Financial Giving
Direct Donations
Lincoln’s PTSA accepts direct donations made at your convenience year round. Donations can be made via check or credit card in a one-time installment or recurring monthly.
We also organize specific days and events when the Lincoln PTSA will ask for funds. It is our intention to provide a menu of different giving options so that you will find the way to give that works best for your family! Many employers offer matching gifts to encourage philanthropy among their employees, and some give volunteer grants based on the number of hours you volunteer. Check with your employer today!
Or choose a monthly recurring donation…
Increase Impact on Colorado Gives Day: Dec 10, 2024
Lincoln’s generous community participates in making December 10th our biggest direct giving day of the year. Donors can make one-time donations or set up recurring monthly gifts. As a program of the Community First Foundation, Colorado Gives features a $1.6 Million+ Incentive Fund. Lincoln’s PTSA receives a portion of this fund, thereby increasing the impact of every dollar donated.

Auction Donations
It’s never too early to think about auction donations. Some ideas:
Ask your favorite local business (such as a restaurant or hairdresser) to donate a gift card
Host an experience (such a beer tasting or a progressive dinner) for a group of Lincoln parents
For those of you who own a second home, donate a weekend away
If you are self-employed, consider donating your services
If you are not self-employed, ask your employer to donate goods or services (i.e. sports tickets, graphic design package, hotel stay, etc.)
Contact bash@mylincolnptsa.org to make a donation or learn more.

“The Lincoln PTSA is a wonderful group of parents who support the teachers and students at Lincoln and we are so thankful for their hard work and dedication to our school. There is so much that the PTSA does for our school, it is hard to choose just one thing that stands out; however, the money they raise every year to fund paraprofessionals for our classrooms is an enormous help. Teachers need to have that extra support in the classroom.
We use our paraprofessionals to help work with small groups, making copies, grading papers or helping with class projects. We couldn't do it without them!”
Amy Jones (Senior Team Lead/Math Interventionist, Lincoln Elementary)
